Avril Lavigne pubblica un nuovo singolo dal titolo “Bite Me”. È la stessa artista canadese a darne notizia sui suoi canali ufficiali (twitter ed instragram) pubblicando anche una foto che la ritrae seduta in terra con una torta accanto.
Il brano farà parte del prossimo lavoro in studio, il settimo in venti anni di carriera, che uscirà per DTA Records, etichetta nata nel 2019 che fa capo a Travis Barker, batterista dei Blink-182. Proprio qualche giorno fa Avril ha annunciato di essere entrata a far parte della scuderia di Barker, pubblicando una foto e un messaggio su instagram per celebrare la firma del contratto e la neonata collaborazione.

Avril Lavigne era tornata a farsi sentire in questo 2021 a Gennaio con Flames di Mod Sun, ed a Luglio con Grow, brano facente parte del nuovo album di Willow – attrice, cantante e produttrice figlia di Will Smith.
La Lavigne ha anche annunciato un nuovo tour che farà tappa in Italia la prossima primavera. Nello specifico, i concerti italiani (inizialmente previsti per Marzo 2021) saranno due: il 4 Marzo 2022, alla Fiera di Padova, ed il 6 Marzo, al Mediolanum Forum di Milano.
