Gli Swedish House Mafia si sono lasciati e ripresi più volte nel corso degli ultimi 10 anni, un po’ come quei fidanzati innamorati che vivono storie complicate. Ritrovati parzialmente (Axwell Ʌ Ingrosso) o con formazione al completo, in occasione di alcuni tour, per scomparire poi di nuovo dai radar nel novembre del 2019, con la cancellazione dall’account Instagram di tutti i post pubblicati.
Sembrava una storia finita male ed invece il trio svedese a Luglio 2021 ha annunciato l’ennesimo ritorno sulle scene, dal vivo, con un tour mondiale e alcuni singoli ad anticipare un nuovo lavoro in studio, il terzo, dopo 9 anni di silenzio discografico.
“Moth to a Flame”, l’ultimo singolo in questione, è stato pubblicato la scorsa notte e vede la partecipazione della superstar mondiale The Weeknd. Segue i precedenti squilli di tromba estivi – It Gets Better e Lifetime – che avevano accompagnato la notizia dell’uscita di “Paradise Again”, inizialmente prevista per la fine di quest’anno ed ora rimandata al 2022.
Il tour, che partirà da Miami il prossimo 29 Luglio, farà tappa anche in Italia martedì 18 ottobre 2022 al Mediolanum Forum di Milano.
