A$AP Rocky pubblica il brano Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n) in coproduzione con Pharrell Williams. Si tratta del suo secondo singolo da solista uscito in questo 2023, dopo Same Problems? Entrambe faranno parte del prossimo lavoro in studio di Rocky – il quarto in carriera – intitolato Don’t Be Dumb.
L’artista ha fatto sapere che il disco è stato realizzato durante il suo concerto Amazon Music Live andato in scena lo scorso dicembre, dove fu presentato in anteprima il primo singolo in questione.
L’uscita di Riot, invece, ha alimentato tantissimi pettegolezzi in rete riguardanti la relazione del rapper con Rihanna. Secondo i ben informati i due si sarebbero sposati in gran segreto, senza proclami pubblici. La conferma – manco a dirlo – arriverebbe dalla canzone, da un passo dove Rocky dichiara “My wife is erotic, I’m smokin’ exotic” e dal ritornello “We grow, we learn and we live/I might start a riot”.
Difficile stabilire la fondatezza della notizia. Ma se le cose stanno così, non possiamo che complimentarci facendo tanti auguri agli sposi!
